Elio Nimier-David has been attached to the Chair since 2017 as Professor Aghion's research assistant. He is particularly interested in theories of growth and innovation, as well as issues related to entrepreneurship and social mobility.
After a preparatory class B/L (letters and social sciences), Elio joined the Social Sciences branch of the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Cachan. In 2016, he assisted the economist Gilbert Cette for his work "Working in the 21st Century - The Uberization of the Economy? (Odile Jacob), co-written with the jurist Jacques Barthélémy. He then entered the second year of the ENSAE in the framework of a double diploma. Since September 2017, he is completing the last year of his master's degree in economics (Master in Economics, Paris-Saclay) in parallel with the third year of ENSAE.
