Make a donation (Companies and foundations)

Add meaning and value to your donation and your company and get your colleagues involved. Take part in a program fostering solidarity and scientific excellence.

The PAUSE program represents an asset for research, innovation and national development.

By participating in the PAUSE program, you are becoming a major stakeholder in the scientific community in France. You are helping to develop international research and innovation networks, enhance the profile of universities and research centers, and strengthen the economic fabric of the country. There are several ways for companies to get involved in the PAUSE program, including a donation to host scientists, skills sponsorship, and support to enhance the profile of scientific research.

As a sponsor, you can enjoy a number of benefits:

  • Enhanced reach
The sponsor company can benefit from an enhanced profile both with the general public and with members of the Executive Committee in relation to its support for the PAUSE program.
  • Staff involvement in your partnership
We offer sponsors the opportunity to organize meetings with the national PAUSE program participants to discuss their scientific research and develop collaborative projects to enhance the profile of scientific research.
  • Tax benefits
Donations entitle you to a tax reduction: the tax reduction for companies is 60% of the donation up to an annual limit of 0.5% of company turnover. If this limit is exceeded, the company can charge the excess to the next five financial years on the same terms.
  • A bespoke partnership
A dedicated sponsorship team is available to help you to tailor a bespoke partnership to support PAUSE (Programme national d’aide à l’Accueil en Urgence des Scientifiques en Exil).

As a partner in the national PAUSE program, you are taking part in a strategic French initiative. You are also becoming involved in a joint initiative with higher education establishments and research organizations with a reputation for excellence.
