The Collège de France offers guided tours tailored to your class’s level for schoolchildren (elementary school students in Cycle 3 and above, middle school, and high school) and college students.

Discovery Tour
This guided tour offers an overview of the Collège de France. It will cover the institution’s history from its founding in 1530 to the present day, as well as the prominent figures and professors who have contributed to its international reputation.
The uniqueness of the Collège de France will be highlighted through a presentation of its research and teaching missions, which make it a center of excellence unlike any other in the world.

- Tour duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
- Online reservations are required at least 7 days before the desired date

Themed Tour
This tour is designed and organized in conjunction with the teacher’s educational project. Personalized support is offered to teachers to help them develop and prepare their project.
Through its motto, “Docet omnia,” the Collège de France is a multidisciplinary center for teaching “Research in the Making.” This interdisciplinary approach and the constant renewal of its activities make it possible to explore with a class themes spanning a wide range of research fields, from the experimental sciences (chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics, computer science, astronomy) to the humanities (history, literature, law, economics, philosophy, anthropology).
The proposed tour combines a historical overview of this place of memory and knowledge with an opportunity for discussion and dialogue with scientific teams from the Collège de France’s institutes and laboratories about their research and professional careers.
The thematic tour also offers the opportunity to delve deeper into the work of a past or present professor at the Collège de France, with access to the institution’s archives and its rich heritage collection.
