Résumé
As is widely known, the Bibliothèque nationale de France houses one of the world's largest and most important collections of Greek and Latin manuscripts. It is also one of the most intensely studied collections where manuscripts have been scrutinised by experts for many generations. Nevertheless, new technology can help us unlock the closely guarded secrets of even some well-known codices, enabling us to make unexpected discoveries of important and rare new texts. A Greek and a Latin example will be used in detail to demonstrate the great new potential of an old collection thanks to recent advances in imaging technologies. Both of these new texts are directly relevant to educational practice in antiquity.
