Présentation

After studying Biology in Spain, I came to Paris to do my M2 and PhD in Cellular Biology. I studied a fascinating intracellular trafic associated to primary cilia in mammal cells in the team of A. Benmerah at the I. Cochin, Paris.

Following my PhD, I wanted to jump a life-scale forward, and I chose to do a Post-Doc in Developmental Biolgy at the I. Curie, Paris, in the laboratory of JR. HUYNH. I studied an intriguing crosstalk between tRNAs and piRNAs molecules in genome integrity control in Drosophila ovaries.

Since 2016, I have a CNRS permanent position in the laboratory of JR. HUYNH. Strikingly, tRNAs can be cleaved into tRFs that are deregulated in several pathologies such as cancer and neurodegeneration. Nowadays, I study tRNA fragments (tRFs) roles in Drosophila oogenesis and other developmental processes.

Besides, I like being involved in the life of my unit and I actively participate in several teaching activities for PSL.
