Helene Maghin is a PhD candidate at the University of Leuven since 2019 under the supervision of Jan De Loecker and Philippe Aghion. Her research interests include industrial organization, organizational economics and labour economics. Specifically, she studies the determinants of firm performance as well as the adjustment process of workers in response to adverse shocks.
Prior to starting her PhD, Helene has completed a master’s in economics at Sciences Po Paris and has worked as a research assistant at the Bank of France. She will be visiting the department of economics of the University of Chicago during the 2022-2023 academic year.
