This year's seminars focused on the following topics:
- Transforming instrumental sound using a real-time digital processor.
- Expanding the concept of arpeggios using regular delays and techniques such as frequency shifting and ring modulation.
- Multiplying instrumental rhythms through rhythmic sequences combined with delays.
- Modification of instrumental sounds using synthesized sounds or other instrumental sounds.
- Frequency detection: challenges in detecting an instrumental frequency; various applications for triggering either a modification process or a synthesized score.
- Spatial distribution: dependent or independent of other criteria, such as dynamics.
- Study of programs on the 4X machine that enable these operations in real time.
