All lectures
Lectures, seminars and colloquia at the Collège de France are open to the public free of charge, with no registration required. All you need to do is turn up a few minutes before your lecture is due to start, subject to availability. The Collège de France does not issue diplomas.
These lectures are given by the holders of the Collège de France chairs, each occupied by a professor elected by his or her peers and appointed by the President of the Republic. In addition to the statutory professorships, the annual professorships and visiting lecturers program offer the opportunity to welcome eminent French and foreign researchers for a shorter period of time, at the initiative of the Collège de France assembly.
Special events bring together conferences, round tables and exceptional meetings focusing on contemporary issues in science and culture.
