Abstract

Good sleep is essential for efficient learning. It allows us to be available at the moment of encoding, but it is also crucial after learning to allow memory traces to consolidate. This sleep-dependent memory consolidation depends on specific brain activities that evolve throughout life. In this lecture, we will analyze these processes and how they evolve.
