Under the direction of Cécile Bernal-Beauger, who is responsible for the archives of the École Pratique des Hautes Études within the Research Department, the important "Inventaire des archives de la recherche" has recently been published. It lists and indicates all EPHE archives - known up to now - that have been processed, transferred or deposited by the institution with archives or libraries.
The aim of this inventory is to facilitate and encourage the widest possible research: it indicates the main producers (researchers, teacher-researchers, collaborators, scholars) as well as the places of research production (research libraries, laboratories, research centers and organizations, institutes and learned societies) mentioned within the fonds.
These two days, which will bring together archive professionals, library professionals and researchers from a wide range of disciplines, in the humanities as well as in the life and earth sciences, will study these collections in all their diversity, in order to provide a broad perspective on the institutional and intellectual history of the École, the researchers and learned personalities who make it shine, and its libraries, laboratories, institutes and research organizations.
