New challenges for metaphysics

Elected to the Metaphysics and Philosophy of Knowledge chair, Prof. Claudine Tiercelin gave her opening lecture on Thursday May 5, 2011. Over the next fourteen years, her lectures explored a renewed approach to metaphysics, articulating classical questions with contemporary scientific advances.
His closing lecture, entitled "New challenges for metaphysics", summarizes his research and opens up perspectives for the future of the discipline.
