Elisabeth Schellekens has been invited by the General Assembly of the Collège de France on the recommendation of Professor François Recanati.

In these two lectures, Elisabeth Schellekens will defend a so-called ‘noetic’ theory, according to which aesthetic experience, far from being a mere sensory and emotional reaction, engages our intellectual capacities in processes of discovery and exploration.
