Cities of Mesopotamia in the Early Babylonian Period: An Overview

Introduction

This year’s course by Dominique Charpin offers an overview of Mesopotamian cities during the Early Babylonian period, presenting both the current state of excavations and research based on archival materials discovered from Ur in the south to Sippar in the north. Along the way, we will profile notable individuals, following the approach already used over the past two years.
