Born in 1975, Arno Bertina is the author of the novels Le Dehors (Actes Sud, 2001), Anima motrix (Verticales, 2006) and Des châteaux qui brûlent (Verticales, 2017). In March 2020, Verticales published L'Âge de la première passe, the story of three years' work with street girls in the Congo. A former resident of the Villa Médicis and curious about collective experiences, he has co-authored books with photographers and is a member of the Inculte collective.
