A doctoral student in public law at the University of Orléans since 2021, Camille Michel is writing a thesis entitled " The role of non-governmental organizations in the implementation of international law in maritime spaces under national jurisdiction " under the supervision of Prs Nicolas Haupais and Florent Blanco. She holds a bachelor's degree in European law (Université d'Orléans), a master's degree in international law and international organizations (Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne) and a master's degree in French and international business law (Université d'Orléans, relocated to Krakow). Between 2021 and 2024, Camille Michel benefited from a doctoral contract at the University of Orléans, during which she taught public international law, administrative law, constitutional law and European Union law. During her doctoral contract, she also carried out two consecutive research stays at the University of Seychelles and McGill University (Canada). Her doctoral research focuses on general public international law and the international law of the sea.

Since September 2024, Camille Michel has been an ATER with the International Law of InstitutionsChair at the Collège de France, where she is completing her thesis.
