Catherine Hochman is a postdoctoral researcher at Université Grenoble Alpes and recently obtained her PhD from UCLA.
She works in philosophy of mind and cognitive science. Her research focuses on how the self is represented in cognition. She is particularly interested in the non-conceptual representations that might constitute the origin of the conceptual representation of the self used in first-person thinking. To date, her work has explored the content, formats and use of such representations in perception and body awareness.
