In 2021, Emilien Beudy graduated from the University of Reims-Champagne-Ardenne with a bachelor's degree in Physics and Chemistry, and went on to obtain a master's degree in Molecular Chemistry from the same university. Throughout his studies, he acquired additional experience in organometallic chemistry, stereoselective chemistry and the synthesis of pharmaceutical ingredients during his various internships in industry. In November 2023, he starts his PhD thesis in collaboration between Collège de France (Molecular Activation Laboratory) and Sorbonne University (Paris Institute of Molecular Chemistry, MACO team), under the supervision of Pr Louis Fensterbank. His project focuses on the activation of Gold(I) pre-catalysts via Martin spirosilanes, as well as the synthesis of bismuth complexes and their applications in organic synthesis.
