Hengjia Wang

Hengjia Wang obtained her PhD in Chemistry from Central China Normal University. She worked on the synthesis of metal aerogels for electrocatalysis. During her studies, she deepened her expertise in advanced materials synthesis, operando characterization methods and electrochemistry. In December 2025, she begins her post-doctorate at the Collège de France under the supervision of Marc Fontecave and Ngoc-Huan Tran. Her project focuses on coupling small molecule oxidation and CO₂ reduction to produce a high value-added product: formic acid.
