Yoann Gonneau completed his pre-doctoral studies at ENS Paris-Saclay, during which he began his current research project in Professor Duboule's laboratory at EPFL, Switzerland. There, he focused on Hox transcription dynamics, utilizing the gastruloid model as a proxy for the study of these genes. He is now continuing this work as part of my PhD. Currently, he is implementing methodologies for live imaging of transcriptional processes at selected Hox genes, in close collaboration with Professor Gregor's laboratory at the Pasteur Institute. Using these tools, he aims to gain insights into the regulatory mechanisms that govern the implementation of the Hox timer.
