Abstract
Clinical neurotechnologies are medical advances using innovative devices and techniques to diagnose, treat and improve neurological and psychiatric conditions. They include methods such as functional MRI for real-time brain imaging, auditory nerve stimulation in the cochlea to alleviate severe or profound deafness, deep brain stimulation to treat disorders such as Parkinson's disease, and electrocorticography to precisely map epileptogenic areas of the brain.
