Abstract
The link between information and irreversibility has a long history from a theoretical point of view, starting with the apparent paradox of Maxwell's demon. In his talk, Sergio Ciliberto presented several experimental realizations, in particular a device for testing the Landauer bound that predicts the minimum amount of heat required to erase one bit of information.
