Abstract
Since the 1960s-1970s, there have been three revolutions in the way we do business, all of which are aimed at achieving a sustainable economy. The first concerns our relationship with living organisms, the second with industry, and the third with social relationships. Symbiotic theory is conceptualized from the observation of their practices. It shows that, taken together, they represent one and the same economy, since they can be described according to the same six principles. Respect for these principles is the basis for the creation of predominantly positive impacts on living beings and society. They describe a completely new economy, regenerative of its resources, anchored in the territories and evolving in symbiosis with them. Companies and regions inspired by the symbiotic economy, or whose development models are in line with its principles, are showing a new way forward : they are reintegrating the economy into the planetary equilibrium, while responding to the challenges they face in an uncertain world.
