Abstract

In a period of continuous accumulation of political, military, economic and climatic crises, economic security has become a priority for all major regions. The race for industrial policies and the ensuing power struggles over resources seem to render useless any effort at cooperation and solidarity between countries, and any consideration of social and environmental sustainability. Based on recent work in the service of the G20 and G7, this conference aims to show the many points of entry that make it possible to defend that cooperation, whether pluri- or even multilateral, is more advantageous in terms of security and individual interest, than the pure exercise of force.
