The Avenir Commun Durable Chair was established as part of the initiative of the same name launched in 2021 by professors at the Collège de France. Dedicated to the challenges of environmental and energy transition, it hosts international experts each year to highlight the latest research in this field. The chair is supported by the Collège de France Foundation and its major patron, the Covéa Foundation .
