Since 2026, the Biodiversity and Ecosystems Annual Chair has received support from the Collège de France Foundation .
Established in 2020, the Biodiversity and Ecosystems Annual Chair aims to advance research and inform debates on the living world, the environment, and biodiversity by inviting leading figures to the Collège de France whose scientific work is intended for wide dissemination, including to the general public. This dissemination, in accordance with the Collège de France’s unique approach, takes the form of free lectures open to all, delivered by the visiting professor.
