The aim is to take up the theme of the voice in Wittgenstein's last writings, and to ask whether it is (1) an image of the mind, or of the logical articulation between inside and outside; (2) an image of the individual voice, or of common language. On this basis, we propose to reformulate the relationship between description and image.
