The volumes in the “Closing Lectures” series present the final closing lectures delivered by certain professors at the Collège de France as part of their tenure. Serving as a summary of their research and a conclusion to their teaching, these lectures echo the opening lectures they delivered upon their arrival, which were published in the “Opening Lectures” series.
