The Administrator, the Board of Professors and the entire Collège de France community are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Étienne-Émile Baulieu, Professor Emeritus at the Collège de France, holder of the Chair in Foundations and Principles of Human Reproduction from 1993 to 1998, on May 30, 2025, at the age of 98. They pay tribute to the professor, to the humanist pioneer of human reproductive endocrinology and to the precursor of the molecular study of steroid hormones.
