Introduction

The philosophy of knowledge has been shaped by the opposition between rationalists and empiricists, which lies at the heart of artificial intelligence. The revolution in artificial intelligence driven by neural networks is rooted in Kant’s philosophy. It has opened up a new field of mathematical inquiry into knowledge, challenging many preconceived notions.
