María completed her master’s degree at the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) in Paris. After two rotations in the lab and an internship in Marseille with Pierre-François Lenne’s team, she began her Ph.D. in September 2022. Her research project aims to uncover how tissue architecture and mechanical forces shape self-organizing dynamics in avian skin.
