María performed her Master studies at the Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS) of Paris. After two rotations in the lab and an internship in Marseille with the team of Pierre-François Lenne, she started her PhD in September 2022. Her project aims at uncovering how tissue architecture and mechanical forces shape self-organising dynamics in the avian skin.
