She is a molecular biologist who specialises in gene regulation. During her PhD, she studied a gene involved in human deafness. In 2022, she started her current project at EPFL (Ecole Polytechnique de Lausanne). She is working on a 3D gastruloid model mimicking a mouse embryo in order to characterise the regulation of a gene involved in the retinoic acid pathway during mouse development. She enjoys characterising and deciphering the regulatory mechanisms of genes, and investigating how disruption to this regulatory landscape may impact or induce a phenotype/disease.
