Islombek Mengnorov earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Tashkent State Technical University in 2021. In 2023, he completed his Master’s degree in Biotechnology at the Tashkent University of Chemical Technologies, where he conducted research in plant biotechnology, natural product chemistry, analytical chemistry, and coordination chemistry. His work focused on the extraction and characterization of phytohormones, as well as the development of their complex compounds. He worked as a Junior Researcher at the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan until 2024.
In 2024, he began his PhD studies through a collaborative program between the Collège de France (Laboratoire d’Activation Moléculaire) and Sorbonne Université (Institut Parisien de Chimie Moléculaire, IPCM), under the supervision of Professor Louis Fensterbank and Dr. Camille Lescot. He is currently conducting research on organic synthetic methodology, gas–liquid reaction systems and molecular activation.
