Abstract

After mentioning the Friedman equations, which describe the expansion of the Universe, we describe the standard cosmological model, including dark matter and dark energy, which help explain the hierarchical formation of galaxies. Primordial fluctuations, arising from inflation, allow the growth of large structures. Their development will be described by the linear regime of gravitational instabilities.
