    How can we control the rules of successivity in components? How can we preserve a structure while constantly renewing its components? Is it possible to design new syntaxes in music? For this last problem, I have devised a system of Generative Musical Grammars that first relies on a morphological description of gestures, motifs and figures, then assembles these into structural and formal entities.
