Asia (or the " Asians ") : a land of contrasts and encounters

This lecture will look at the settlement of Asia, or the " Asians ", as well as Oceania. We will see how ancient DNA data have revealed an extremely complex history ; from the disappearance of certain human populations, through a large number of migrations associated with different lifestyles and cultures, to the formation of today's Indian populations.
