This lecture will discuss how paleogenomic data have completely changed our view of the settlement of Europe. We'll see that Europe's current populations are the result of several interbreeding events, between the first Mesolithic hunter-gatherers, farming populations from the Middle East, and populations migrating from the steppes of Central Asia during the Bronze Age.
