Media, scientific and political taboos... a strange era

Member of Parliament for Hérault since 2012, Anne-Yvonne Le Dain is a member of the Commission des Lois and vice-president of the Office parlementaire d'évaluation des choix scientifiques et technologiques. She is also a member of the French group of the Interparliamentary Union, a full member of the Conseil national de sécurité civile, a member of the Board of Directors of the Institut des hautes études pour la science et la technologie and Vice-Chairwoman of the Languedoc-Roussillon Regional Council. An agricultural engineer with a doctorate in earth sciences, Anne-Yvonne Le Dain was until recently the Evaluation Delegate at the International Center for Agricultural Research for Development (CIRAD), having previously served as its Department Director.
