Presentation

The Colloquium "Electron Transfer II" will provide a broad overview of advances in the field of single-electron transfer in molecular chemistry.

Lectures will showcase the various ways in which electron transfer is promoted, whether by photochemistry, photocatalysis, electrochemistry or the use of metal complexes. Reaction conditions, in solution or solid phase, will be discussed, and experimental results will be rationalized by mechanistic studies and DFT modeling.

New methodologies for molecular, radical and organometallic synthesis will be presented, along with their applications to the synthesis of natural products and molecules with properties.

Symposium in English.
