Introduction

The ‘Electron Transfer II’ conference will provide a broad overview of advances in the field of single-electron transfer in molecular chemistry.

The conference presentations will highlight various approaches to promoting electron transfer, whether through photochemistry, photocatalysis, electrochemistry or the use of metal complexes. Reaction conditions, in solution or in the solid state, will be discussed, and experimental results will be rationalised through mechanistic studies and DFT modelling.

New molecular synthesis methodologies – including radical and organometallic approaches – will be presented, along with their applications in the synthesis of natural products and functional molecules.

The conference will be held in English.
