Abstract

Environmental factors during early life are critical for the Jater metabolic health of the individual and of future progeny. Using a mouse model of maternal calorie restriction during pregnancy affecting the metabolic physiology of two generations including paternal transmission to the second generation, we explore whether the mechanism by which paternal experience of in utero undemutrition impacts his offspring via perturbed methylation in his sperm.
