Joël Sebban

Ecole Normale Supérieure, agrégé d'histoire, currently ATER in the Department of Jewish and Hebraic Studies at EHESS. His thesis will be published in November by Belin - Passés composés under the title La civilisation judéo-chrétienne. The founding myth of the democratic world. He is the author of some fifteen articles and contributions to collective works on the history of emancipated Judaism and anti-Semitism, Judeo-Christian relations, the construction of French secularism and the process of secularization.
