2026–2027 Public Lectures Program

The 2026–2027 public lectures program is available as a PDF or online via our e-reader! The printed version will soon be available at the Collège de France reception desk.

The courses, which are open to everyone free of charge and without registration—subject to available seating—will begin on September 9, 2026. The public is admitted to the classrooms no earlier than 30 minutes before the start of class.

Practical Information

The Collège de France’s lectures and opening lectures are open to everyone, free of charge and without registration, subject to availability.

For certain popular courses, the seating capacity of the lecture hall or auditorium may be reached quickly. In such cases, the audience will be directed to a room where the lecture is being broadcast live.

  • Courses begin: starting September 9
  • Classes on hiatus:
    • December 19 through January 4 (Christmas break)
    • April 11–April 27 (spring break)
  • End of classes: early July

The policies for the public and the public lectures program are subject to change depending on the institution’s current situation. We encourage our audience to regularly check the updated guidelines and calendar on the website before visiting.
