Following on from the lecture given between January 16 and February 20, 2026 at the Collège de France by Prof. Pierre-Michel Menger, this symposium will illustrate the fruitfulness of the multidisciplinary approach to the arts. History, law, economics, institutional analysis and statistics offer unique resources for pinpointing the multiple singularities of the arts with all the necessary analytical precision, without neglecting to offer more general readings on questions at the heart of the general evolution of our societies.
