Death of Jacques Glowinski, neurobiologist and neuropharmacologist, Professor Emeritus of the Collège de France, Honorary Chairman of the Collège de France, member of the Académie des Sciences, Commander in the National Order of the Legion of Honor and the National Order of Merit.

The Chairman of the Collège de France, the Assembly of the Collège de France and the entire Collège de France community were deeply saddened to learn of the death of Jacques Glowinski, Professor Emeritus, holder of the Neuropharmacology Chair (1982-2006) and Honorary Administrator (2000-2006). They pay tribute to an exceptional scientist who left his mark on generations of researchers, to a man of conviction and commitment, deeply humanistic and attentive to others, a builder to whom we owe the renovation and modernization of the Collège de France, whose originality and generous openness to all publics he embodied.
