Leaving a legacy for science and knowledge

The Collège de France Foundation is authorized to receive donations as well as bequests, an act of generosity whereby the donor can pass on part of his estate to the Foundation, in support of research and the dissemination of knowledge.

How can you give meaning to your assets ? What can I donate to a foundation ? Can I share my assets between my family, close friends and a foundation ? How do I make a bequest ? Subscribe to the Collège de France Foundation's special newsletter to receive information on bequests and donations, as well as special invitations (information conferences at the Collège de France, meetings with a notary expert in philanthropy, tours).

Donor support contributes to the development, dissemination and progress of science. Numerous bequests enable the institution to support research work within its chairs, acquire new equipment, support young researchers, or digitize rare scientific archives to make them available to all.

The Collège de France Foundation, which is recognized as a charitable organization, is authorized to receive gifts, bequests, donations, usufructs and life insurance policies free of inheritance tax.

The Foundation's team is at your disposal to answer any questions you may have, or to help you define a specific project in line with your values and the issues that are important to you.
