The Collège de France, the Collège de France Foundation and Crédit Agricole d'Ile-de-France are pleased to announce the signing of a sponsorship agreement in support of the Collège de France's heritage, made possible thanks to Crédit Agricole d'Ile-de-France's Jeunes Talents & Patrimoine fund.
This support was made official at a signing ceremony held on September 23 2025 at the Collège de France, in the presence of Prof. Thomas Römer, Chairman of the Collège de France Foundation, Prof. Jean-François Joanny, Chairman of the Collège de France Foundation and Mr. Guillaume Vanthuyne, Chairman of Crédit Agricole d'Ile-de-France.
In particular, this sponsorship will enable the restoration of the painted decorations on the portico of the Cour Letarouilly, at the heart of the Collège de France's lecture halls. Crédit Agricole d'Ile-de-France's support will also enable the recruitment of two talented young people : an apprentice restorer who will work on the project, and a young researcher who will study the work in detail and place it in its historical and artistic context.
