Summer Closures of the Collège de France Libraries – Summer 2026

Ancient Near East Library

The Collège de France libraries will be closed during the summer on the following dates:

  • The five libraries in the Asian Worlds Department will be closed from August 3 to 21, then will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from August 24 to September 4;
  • The Byzantine Library and the Library of Ottoman Studies will be closed from Monday, July 27, through Friday, August 28 (reopening Monday, August 31),
  • The Egyptology Library and the Ancient Near East Library will be closed from August 3 through August 31 (reopening Tuesday, September 1),
  • The Heritage Library will be closed from August 3 through August 30 (reopening Monday, August 31),
  • The Claude Lévi-Strauss Library will be closed from August 3 through August 31 (reopening Tuesday, September 1).
