Rose Marin is a biologist by training with a specialisation in microbiology and data analysis. She is interested in understanding the link between the vaginal microbiome and health, with a focus on human papillomavirus (HPV).
Her research investigates how HPV infection dynamics and evolution is influenced by the host environment, especially vaginal microbiota composition, immunity, and vaccination status. In particular, she studies virus within-host evolution using Bayesian statistical modeling to analyse genomic data.
