Abstract
In conclusion, I'd like to address some questions that remain open about the basic elements and operations in adult mental grammar and its acquisition. Some of these questions may prove within the reach of current theoretical frameworks, others may require deeper revisions and lead theoretical research to explore new dimensions in the study of language.
